Breakwater Construction

Breakwaters are long sets constructed in the sea in to protect coasts, coastal structures and harbours from the effects of waves. They are used for the purpose of absorbing wave energy and can be contructed as different types such as: rubble-mound, caisson, floating, piled etc. While some of the wave energy is damped on the structure, the other part is increasing and wave overflows. Wave overtapping can cause damages on the land side, even leading to loss of life, property and time. For this reason, breakwater construction is important. Our company is engaged in activities such as pile driving, placing categorical rocks, submerging geotextile filter layers, installation of breakwater protection layer units and construction of crownwall for the breakwater construction.
